Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists Daniel Sturridge always had his full support during the summer.
Since netting 24 goals inside the title-challenging campaign of 2013 / 14, Sturridge has only designed a total of 25 Premier League starts.
The manager held talks using the 28-year-old during the summer but Klopp says the conversation was about how you can get the very best from him instead of whether Sturridge needed a brand new start elsewhere.
“Yes, we did (have that chat ) and all was good, Klopp said.
